Claiming the Homeground

For large companies with a widely distributed workforce, building a deeper sense of togetherness can be a real challenge. In gaming, though, it’s an everyday thing to team up with strangers from all around the world to achieve your goals. So why not combine the two worlds? We created an online team event for Axians that not only fosters team spirit but is also just plain fun. The first event was a virtual escape room, the second a Harry Potter-themed chocolate frog challenge, and from there it took on a life of its own. Now there are “Axians Lunch Matches,” where coworkers get together (often even from different branches) to play beginner-friendly games over lunch. Those not playing can watch the action in an internal stream. A lunchtime well spent, if you ask us.
